Built an AI-powered travel planning platform combining GPT-5o-mini, advanced prompt engineering, and hybrid recommendation systems to deliver personalized itineraries. Integrated large-scale multi-source datasets with a scalable FastAPI backend and React frontend. Focused on performance, security, and user-centric design for enterprise-level deployment.
Achievements
Developed an AI Travel Agent with 2,100+ lines of advanced prompt engineering, generating personalized, culturally aware itineraries.
Engineered a Hybrid Recommendation Engine blending content-based, collaborative, and popularity-based approaches for optimized travel suggestions.
Integrated multi-source datasets (200K+ tourism spots, 500K+ restaurant reviews, Firebase user history) into a unified ML pipeline with automated preprocessing.
Built a production-ready FastAPI backend with async/await scalability, caching, error handling, and secure API endpoints.
